District Grand Lodge of Ghana Resolves Water Crisis at A.M.E. Zion Cluster of Schools in Cape Coast
The District Grand Lodge of Ghana has successfully resolved a long-standing water challenge at the A.M.E. Zion Cluster of Schools in Cape Coast by donating a fully mechanised water system to the institution.

The generous contribution includes a mechanised borehole, a raised platform, and a 10,000-litre water storage tank. Speaking at the official handover ceremony, the District Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Isaac Owulaku Hood, stated that the gesture forms part of the Lodge’s charitable initiatives, which are traditionally undertaken alongside the annual Festival of Institutional Lodges.
He reiterated that charity is a defining virtue of Freemasonry and a core commitment of the Lodge’s mission to support communities.
The Omanhen of Oguaa, Osaberima Kwesi Atta II, who graced the occasion, encouraged school authorities and students to ensure the water facility is well-maintained and put to proper use.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, the assistant head expressed deep gratitude to the Freemasons for the timely support, noting that the school had battled water shortages for years. He praised the Lodge for offering a lasting solution to a pressing need.
